Terms of Service

In short: checking one file at a time is free. Pro and Team are subscriptions that renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time. Your files stay on your computer. Check your creatives before you deliver them.

1. Who we are

Gatecheck (the "Service") at getgatecheck.com is operated by Banam Marketing Pvt. Ltd., 207 Millennium Heights, F-11, Islamabad, Pakistan. Paid plans are sold and billed by Whoa Mart Ltd, a UK company. In these terms "we" and "us" means Banam Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and, for anything to do with paid plans and billing, Whoa Mart Ltd. You can reach us at support@getgatecheck.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Gatecheck is a browser-based tool that checks advertising files (images, video and HTML5 banners) against published platform specifications and repairs some of them. The free plan checks one file at a time with every check. Gatecheck Pro adds campaign features such as folders and batches, delivery plans, one-click repairs, branded reports, delivery sheets, packages and custom specs. Gatecheck Team gives the same features to up to 5 people in one organisation. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove a paid feature that is central to the plan you paid for, you can ask for a refund of the unused part of your current billing period.

3. Your files

Files are checked inside your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. You keep all rights to your files. You are responsible for having the right to use and modify the files you check or repair. Repairs create new files and never change the originals on your computer.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pro and Team are sold as monthly or yearly subscriptions at the price shown on the site at the time of purchase. Prices are in US dollars and may include taxes where required.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Where the checkout page says the subscription is sold through Link, Stripe's Link service acts as the reseller and merchant of record for payment and tax purposes, and its terms also apply to your purchase. We do not see or store your full card details.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and you will be charged the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.

If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal.

If a payment fails, paid features may stop working until the payment is resolved.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time: open the checker, click Pro or Team in the top bar and choose Manage billing, or email support@getgatecheck.com. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and will not renew.

6. Refunds

We offer a full refund on any payment if you ask within 14 days of that payment. The details are in our Refund Policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. License keys

After purchase you receive a license key that unlocks your plan in your browser. A Pro key is for the person who bought it, on their own devices. A Team key may be used by up to 5 people in the same organisation. Please do not publish, sell or share your key beyond that. We may deactivate keys that are shared publicly or used in breach of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell or sublicense the Service, attempt to bypass plan restrictions or payment checks, interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

9. Checks are guidance, not a guarantee

Gatecheck compares your files with specifications that platforms publish and change from time to time. Each rule shows its source and the date it was last checked. Final acceptance of any creative rests with the platform, publisher or broadcaster. Some checks, such as safe zones and animation length, need your own eye, and Gatecheck says so where that applies. You are responsible for reviewing creatives before you deliver or publish them.

10. Availability and warranty

We aim to keep the Service available and working well, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business, rejected creatives or campaign delays arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects paying subscribers, we will notify you by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when the terms were last updated.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
